Matsuya's Coffee Prefabricated Restaurant; is a building assembled from a series of volumetric steel modules, linked together to form a complete structure. The modules, which are prefabricated and finished (or partially finished) off-site, under factory conditions, and then transported to the construction site and mounted on to foundations.

Prefabricated Modular Characteristics

Unit contains approximately 160 M² utilizable space. Transportation via 40’ or 20’ containers or multiples thereof.
Steel construction.
Pillar size: 100x100x4t.
The roof construction is 4.5mm steel, with fabricated metal sheeting and insulation.
Factory installed plasterboard, finished with wallpaper and painted (4mm PVC for bathrooms).

Prefab Elements Installed at Customer's Site

Windows and mirrors; the front and back walls of the building are designed to be linked with the roof section. Therefore, to save time, cost and breakage these components cannot be installed at the factory and must be fixed by the client.
Concrete flooring; customers can either select their own supplier or choose the standard factory issue. However, this will depend on many variables and the convenience & location of the construction area.

Approximate price with fully installed components is

Price of Convenience store (80 M²): $80,000-$90,000
(Depending on the raw materials used).
